Somewhere Life Is A Figment of Imagination

Figment

I watch the evening stars,
My only friends in a while,
I raise a lusty toast,
And drink the water of time,

Memories ebb and flow,
Of the spirit, which now runs dry and all,
Reminiscing the happy hours spent,
Of half the life that was bent,

I build my ship and try to keep it afloat,
But the hole in the hull is chaffing,
My ever cheerful disposition teaches,
Each time to resurrect from a zygote
